Maharashtra Arogya Mandal (MAM) is a registered Charitable Trust (NGO) established by 5 young doctors lead by Dr. Dada Gujar who nurtured a dream of Rural Medicare. Initially focused on preventive healthcare which eventually widened the scope of work in support areas like sanitation, school health monitoring, education, water conservation, rural and tribal development. Now MAM is working in Health, Education & Tribal Development with many prestigious appreciations from Government of India and International Agencies.
- Maharashtra Arogya Mandal, Pune with the help of Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India has established Centre of Excellence for Mother and Child Care, i.e. Dr. Dada Gujar Hospital for Mother and Child Care in Hadapsar Pune.
- Dr. Dada Gujar Hospital is a 50 bedded Centre of Excellence for Mother & Child care.
Objectives of the hospital are focused on 360 degrees integrated health solution for mother and child in consonance with a Ministry of AYUSH, GOI.
- Hospital is fully equipped and serving society with best in class diagnostics, Ayurveda care, Panchakarma, therapeutic yoga as well as intensive treatment with emergency services for preventive, therapeutic and promotion of health.
- It has started its activities in Hadapsar Pune with outreach activities in the radius of 100 km from Hadapsar covering rural areas to screen and early detect breast cancer as well as cervical cancer.
- Established standardised Antenatal Care (ANC) and Postnatal care (PNC) protocols are being propagated in Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) through trainings and capacity building programs.
- The efforts are being made to create awareness among the community for Ayurveda view for ANC and PNC care with various social activities.
- Hospital has established its legal permissions in July 2022 and started functioning its OPDs and IPD areas. It has state of art facilities for Modular operation theatres, labour rooms, labour Operation theatre along with Intensive care unit and Neonatal ICU.
- Dr Dada Gujar Hospital is fully equipped with advanced modern equipment for management of emergency and with trained and qualified medical staff for the same with lush green and serene environment of Ayurveda herbal garden and an ease of ample parking space.
- Dr Dada Gujar Hospital is future ready with 6KL Oxygen plant and central oxygen pipeline for all beds in the hospital to manage any pandemic like emergency conditions.
- There are adequate facilities for laparoscopic surgeries (Minimally invasive) and maintains adequate infection control protocols for comfortable hospital stay of patient.
- Paediatric surgery management is also carried out with trained surgeons with NICU and ICU facilities.
- Therapeutic Ayurveda and Panchakarma Services are provided for Women and child wellness with two panchakarma therapy rooms for pre-conception detoxification of couples, various treatments during pregnancy and after delivery.
